The Amazing Race: Charla Gets Her Ass Kicked By Horses & Sausage (4/1/07)
Tonight’s 2 hour episode took the teams on a tumultuous journey to Poland. Team Guido & Eric/Danielle (known as Team Shut Up in my living room) were left behind after missing a flight. This put them more than 12 hours behind the other teams. The Beauty Queens finished 1st & actually started their next leg before those two teams had finished the previous one. Team Guido ended up in last place but it was a non-elimination round. They are now marked for elimination and will incur a 30 minute penalty if they do not come in 1st on their next leg. 
Teams then made an emotional journey to Auschwitz where they had to observe a moment of silence. Afterwards, they found themselves “intersected”. Each team had to pair up with another to complete a task until they were given further notice. Ozzie & Danny teamed up with Uchenna & Joyce to finish a Fast Forward. Successful, they were able to go right to the pit stop where they found out that while they tied for 1st place, only one team could have the prize associated with it. Ozzie & Danny, generously & without hesitation, let Uchenna & Joyce have the trip to St. Lucia. The Beauty Queens begrudgingly joined forces with Charla & Mirna while Team Guido had no choice but to team up with Team Shut Up. They hit a Detour & both sets of teams decided to do a task where they had to eat 2 feet of sausage. Dustin & Charla both threw up … and I prefer never again to watch Charla shove utensils down her throat in order to force herself to puke. That image is now burned in my brain … thanks, CBS. It hurts.
The remaining four teams were released from being intersected and hit a Detour where one team member had to lead a horse through the woods. On the way there, Charla & Mirna screamed at a taxi driver who wouldn’t let them follow him for any less than $100. An episode wouldn’t be complete without Mirna melting down, crying, and screaming in broken english. They finally made it to the challenge. Charla, having previous bad luck with horses, did not find much change in Poland. Dustin & Kandice had no trouble finishing 3rd with Charla & Mirna close behind. Team Guido finished 5th but since Eric & Danielle finished during the 30 minute penalty, they were eliminated.

The two hours special was the most entertaining, EVER!…ok, beside Danny & Oswald chasing Phil for a hug in an earlier episode…LOL.
I didn’t really care for the BQs the last show, but last night, Miss California’s attitude of “let get the show on the road” when Mirna & Charla showed up @ the intersection, much to their disappointments, impressed the heck out of me! My hat off to them. I never really heard them bad mouthing anyone this time around, or last time for that matter. Pissing the “Ghetto Divas” off maybe, but that was just a personal problem for the Divas, it seemed.
Mirna annoyed the goat out of me though. I muted when she was crying, whinning, and bitching at the cab drivers. SHUT UP, MIRNA!, that was me shouting at the TV, if you could hear me…At some point, I sensed Charla just wanted to give up the whole thing. If I were Charla, I would stuff Ex-lax in the sausage for Mirna, just to get even for taking out on me, uh, Charla so often. They oughta be thankful that it was not the cavier this time around.
I still don’t see the clear winners so far. It twists & turns of much, I don’t dare to predict. I would love, however, to see my favorite team, team CHA CHA CHA, to wins it all. That is if they avoid bikering long enough. Their selfless acts was very nice. Showed their true characters. God bless them.
If I learn anything from these two hours special, is that everyone get discriminate against, one time or another. Uchenna & Joyce at the airport, Charla & Mirna in Poland, the gay teams, and yes, even the BQs. their good looks can work against them sometimes. People assume that they are attractive, therefore, they must be stuck up bitches!! On contrary, they proved us wrong. Ms. New York was down to earth with a little girl in, umm, the market when they had to earn the money painting fingernails. She painted a little girl’s nails for free. How sweet! Small kindness gesture like that, warms one’s heart. I’m still trying to picture how Kevin & Drew would have done, had they still be on the show & chosen to paint nails…LOL. I love those two guys!!!
Danille’s comments about Charla in Armor looks like a dressed up rat, cracked me up. I hope she didn’t say it in the mean way, but it sure was funny!!! Charla & that darn horse!!!
Can’t wait until Sunday. The ONLY best show worth watching…
Oh, and that Phil is just getting sexier & sexier. No wonder Mirna always freshen up before standing before Phil…
