Follow up Interview with Carol Journey from Big Brother 8

After talking with Kail and Nick last Sunday I am almost done making the rounds with all the non sequestered Big Brother cast before next weeks finale. Yesterday I had the chance to talk with Carol. We talked about her feelings towards Jessica, If she would do the show again and how life has been since she left the Big Brother house. I will have follow up interviews with the entire cast after I return from the Big Brother finale next week. I would like to thank Carol for taking the time out of her evening last night to discuss the show.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Thanks for taking the time to talk with us today. I lost track of the date, how long have you been home since you left the Big Brother house?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I have been home about two months now; I was in the Big Brother house for about two weeks.
Q. Mark: So what was it like to come home, are you back into your normal routine?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: Life is completely and totally back to normal, well almost back to normal.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What part of life isn’t back to normal?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: The fact that my life is consumed with Big Brother. It’s something new to me.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you been noticed out in public?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: Right when I was evicted I was noticed quite a bit. The first two weeks after I got evicted from the show I was noticed more than I am now.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you had much interaction with fans on and offline?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: Not too much. I don’t think I turned out to be as cool as people thought I would be. I did get a lot of pictures taken with fans when I was at the KC Chiefs games.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Do you wish you had stayed in the Big Brother house longer?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: My views about the show have changed 100% since I left. When I was in the house I was miserable and not in the right state of mind, I wanted to leave. So many things have changed since I left, I know now I would have fought harder to stay longer.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What changed your mind?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I think the people in the house are awful. They say terrible things about one another and about me. I wish I would have shown more of my personality and not held back as much as I did. If I had the chance to go back you would see a different Carol. People on myspace are very cool and send me quotes and videos of what people say about me in the house. I didn’t say anything bad about anyone when I was on the show. I didn’t say anything about Jessica and I am offended and by some of her comments. While I was in the house everyone was nice, supportive and encouraging. I had great talks and kind words with others on the show and thought great things about all of them and now I hear all these negative things. I used to like Eric and now I’m not very fond of him.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What did Eric do to change your thoughts about him?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: He has said a lot of negative things about me. Ever since he and Jessica got close he seems to follow whatever she says or does.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: I have to ask about Jessica and Eric, what are your thought on her and her thing with Eric?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: All the power to them. We will see how long it lasts after the show.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: I know you’re not a fan of Eric but do you think Eric did a good job as America’s Player and would you have wanted to be in his shoes?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I would have liked to have been America’s player since I would have lasted longer in the game. I think he did a good job with what he had to deal with.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Are you ready to see everyone at the finale next week?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I am really nervous to go back to the finale and I will probably try and avoid most of the cast
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Like who?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: Most of the cast that are still in the house or sequestered. However, I do I love Kail and I have a lot respect for Jen. I was hurt by a few things Nick and Joe said but I have talked to them both recently and everything is cool. Everyone outside the house is a good person but the house brings about the worst in people. I am slowly getting it over it all.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you been watching the show or feeds since you have been home?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I do watch the show and if I miss one I can usually watch it later. I don’t watch the feeds but I do get video clips people send me on myspace that help me catch up on what’s going on inside the house.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Some people on the show were outrageous, some tried to fly under the radar and others could not seem to stop crying. What are your thought on people like Dick, Jen and Amber?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I think what Dick did was all strategy but it is still part of his personality. I loved Jen and she did a great job keeping her composure. I think America regrets having me leave and wishes it would have been Amber in my place.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Did you know going into this just how popular Big Brother is?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I had no idea it had this big of a following. I was so clueless and naive. I wish I would have done more research.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: I have run across dozens of fan sites, fan myspace pages and some pretty damn cool photoshop’d pics of the cast. What is it like to see this kind of stuff about you and the cast online?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: The pics are awesome, entertaining and I find them flattering.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Have you ventured into any online forums? I found pages and information about you on sites like Jokerupdates.com, BBlane.com and many more.
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I didn’t at first, but now that I’m not a topic anymore I like to go into the chat room and catch up on what I am missing on the feeds and the show.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Has your myspace page been blowing up with messages and comments?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I did get a lot of messages at first but it has slowed down a bit. Since I am back in school and a full time student it is too time consuming to spend much time on myspace, but I do try and get back to everyone.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Are you happy you took part in Big Brother?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I have mixed feelings about it. A big part of me wishes I could do it all over again, but so little good has come out of that I am struggle to find a positive to the experience. It’s been fun talking to fans on myspace. The only Big Brother season I ever watched from start to finish was season 7. It seems like they all had fun and had a great experience. I talked to Kail and it’s hard for both of us to say we had fun with the experience.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Sounds like you do have mixed feelings about the show. What if a close friend told you they wanted to apply for season 9?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I would say you better have thick skin.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Sounds to me that if you had the chance you would not do it again?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: Probably not. Someone made a joke that they should make an all star Big Brother with people who were evicted first.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: That sounds like a great idea. Maybe someone at CBS will pick up on that idea. Well I appreciate you taking the time to talk with me today. Many of our readers are huge Big Brother fans. Do you have any other favorite reality shows?
A. Carol Big Brother 8: I like Top Chef and I wish I would cook. I love Americas’ Next Top Model and Project Runway.

I Think Dick should have been kicked off the show after all the nasty things he had to say about ,mostly the women,it was discustiging the way he acted,your show is just like watching Jerry Springer Show,only his is much cleaner,Ihave seen some of the clips on the innernet they are the worst i have ever seen.
