Interview With Jameka Cameron Live From The Big Brother Finale

l_4ef09c8689d2562679a360886f252991.jpgAs many of you know I spent last Tuesday night chatting with the Big Brother 8 cast live at the finale. Below you will find a quick chat I had with Jameka. I really enjoyed speaking with her and look forward to follow up with her in a few weeks after she has had the chance to review the prior episodes.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: This is a crazy night, are you having fun?

A. Jameka Cameron: Yes, this is great.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Did you watch past seasons of Big Brother?

A. Jameka Cameron: I did watch past seasons of Big Brother and loved the show, but I can’t say that I was a fanatic. I would not be able to recall past players on the show or incidents that happened, etc.

Q. Mark: Why did you try out?A. Jameka Cameron: It was kind of a fluke and a bit of laziness. I love Reality TV and wanted a piece of the American Pie. I was trying to think of what show I could do that would let me lounge around, compete a bit, and socialize. Then I thought “Big Brother!” On Amazing Race you’re running all the time and you need a partner, and you don’t eat much on Survivor.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Let talk about the final outcome and the winner. Are you happy with the results?

A. Jameka Cameron: I actually voted for Danielle although I felt Dick was more deserving of it. Since I am a counselor I could not support someone that belittles people on a regular basis.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Was there any point in the house when you said to yourself,; I have enough of ED and I want to leave the house?

A. Jameka Cameron: There was never a time where I reached a breaking point but there were hard times when I was homesick, I wanted to be angry and needed time alone but never a time I wanted to walk out.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: What do you walk away with this?

A. Jameka Cameron: I am walking away feeling more like a woman than I did walking into the house. There were things that used to be in my mind that bothered me and issues I thought I had resolved that I haven’t. I had time to do a good deal of self refection.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: Would you do this again?

A. Jameka Cameron: When you look back over it living the moment you say no, but standing here, I would love to do it again.

Q. Mark RealityWanted.com: I know you need to run, any final thoughts?

A. Jameka Cameron: Being in the house without a support system, taught me how to be myself and be comfortable with myself.
