America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 9, Epsiode 2, Show a stripper some respect!!!

We are down 1 girl and 2 episodes. Last week the final 13 ladies were selected for the official competition. This week the gals move into the mansion and start modeling. The theme of the season appears to be an effort by Tyra to make the world a better place. The girls’ limo has changed to a bio-diesel bus. Eco-friendly tips, such as suggestions to take short showers, are placed around the house. The first photo shoot theme was before and after shots of smoking cigarettes. The first fight popped off with Bianca calling Lisa ALLLL the way out for being a stripper. A few are being quite ugly toward Heather for being “different”. Unfortunately, the only girl with a little meat on her bones had to head home. Mila was the first eliminated lady of Cycle 9.

The Model Scoop for Episodes 1 & 2

Ambreal, 19, Dallas, TX.
Student of Howard University, low key and pretty cool.

Bianca, 18, Queens, NY
After the first photo shoot, she had a little beef w/ the “bikini dancer” Lisa and says she only apologized so that the fight wouldn’t come up in front of the judges. Previews for next week show her talking smack on Saleisha. Have we found the official “bia bia” of the season?

Chantel, 19, Austin, TX
So far she seems sort of sweet and has a tractor trailer truck full of confidence.

Ebony, 20, Chicago, IL
Ebony’s competitors aren’t really feeling her arrogant attitude. She claims the tired speech of being “confident not cocky” which is untrue in Ebony’s case. She has the sob story of her granny raising her, blah blah. She’d be a great model once she gets it together.

Heather, 21, Valparaiso, IN
She has Asperger’s Syndrome which is a mild form of Autism. This makes her anti-social and awkward. Heather is the girl that ANTM choose to keep for ratings and kudos. She’s definitely something to “talk about” and the show get credit for improving her life/confidence, etc.

Janet, 22, Bainbridge, GA

Jenah, 18, Farmington, CT
Jenah who?

Kimberly, 20, Ocala, FL
Kimberly who?

Seriously. These three girls have not stood out to me…yet. Maybe it was not enough camera time. However; they, along with Sarah seem to be simply be seat fillers.

Lisa, 20, Jersey City, NJ
She’s a stripper but calls it a “bikini dancer”. Lisa is a truly beautiful girl. But unfortunately I have to agree with Bianca. America’s Next Top Model probably will not have “Exotic “bikini” dancer” on their resume.

Mila, 21, Boston, MA
Mila is pretty well rounded and cool. She’s a normal sized girl, meaning she is not pencil thin. Therefore, I am not sure if she is considered this Cycle’s plus size model.
