Last week I spoke with Erin the 22 year old hairstylist from this season’s Beauty and The Geek. Erin enjoys shopping and in five years plans on living in California.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: What got you interesting in applying for Beauty and The Geek?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: I never watched the show prior but I had heard about it. As far as how I got on the show, one night I was at a night club in Chicago and was approached by someone casting the show and here I am.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: Sounds like it was lucky you went out the club that night. Speaking of clubs you guys had a twist by adding a male beauty named Sam who is a club promoter. Let’s talk about Sam and his partner Nicole. They are a strong team and we could all tell you guys were not happy to see them come back from the elimination challenge.

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: Yeah, we really really wanted them to go. Not that we did not like them, but they just keep winning challenges. You never want to see a good team come back from the elimination challenges since it lowers your chance to move forward.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: There is no doubt in my mind that Sam has an upper hand in these challenges. What did the rest of you guys think?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty and The Geek 4: I did think he had an advantage since he was male and this helped him in the rocket and superhero challenges.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: What about Dave? How did he take the criticism from Shay and Josh that he was given at the last elimination ceremony?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: I could tell by his facial expression that he took it personally. However it was good critique that helped him open his eyes.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: Since we’re talking about Dave, talk to me about Larping.

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: When I first saw it I was like “what is going on?” It was pretty fun to watch, very theatre-ish, you don’t see larping everyday.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: We talked a minute ago about how Sam was winning so many challenges. What was the most difficult challenge for you?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: The most difficult challenge for me was the debate challenge. There was so much material to study and we had no idea what topic we were going to get.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: Let’s talk about your teammate Jesse. What did you think of his new look after the geek makeover?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: Oh my God the changes were so shocking, Jesse looked so good and came out with platinum hair like me. I thought it was so cool. John also looked very different. He had so much hair in his face prior and came out with short hair and no glasses. I hear Jesse has not cut his hair since we finished the show and as a hair stylist I think I am going to have to help him out.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: Sounds like you hit it off with Jesse and much of the cast. Who will you stay in touch with after the show ends?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: Jesse and I will be life long friends. My closest Beauty cast mate was Natalie. I know the two of us will be friends for a very long time. I know I will also talk with Holly.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: Did you learn anything about yourself or other cast from watching the last few episodes?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: Something I did not know was how upset Nicole was when Sam and Rebecca were fooling around when she was trying to sleep. I felt bad for her.

I also had no idea there was chemistry with Holly and Luke since they both wanted to be on one another’s team when the show started.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: What did you leave behind when you went and taped the show and what did you tell your friends?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: I left my job and my dog. Did you see my dog on TV?

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: No I can’t recall if I did, when was your dog on the show and what kind of dog is it?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: He was on the premier episode. My dog is a bull mastiff.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: I know you have to go soon. You said you thought Luke and Holly may have had some chemistry or simply liked one another. There have been romances on prior seasons. Were there any other possible romances?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: Mainly Sam and Rebecca. The rest of us were all mainly friends.

Q. Mark – RealityWanted.com: What about other reality shows. Do you watch any others?

A. Erin Schneider - Beauty And The Geek 4: I haven’t had time to watch this season Top Model but I usually follow America’s Next Top Model and I am obsessed with American Idol.
