Interview with Jennifer Braff from NBCs Age of Love

Jason (RealityWanted.com): How did you get involved in the show?
Jennifer (Age of Love): Someone from the production company found me on Myspace and contacted me. They kept asking me but I told them I was not really interested, but after awhile I finally broke down and agreed to go on the show.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): What did you think about the age difference?
Jennifer (Age of Love): I didn’t know he was 30, but I have dated guys that are much younger than me so it really wasn’t a problem.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): After one episode did you have feelings for Mark?
Jennifer (Age of Love): Mark grew on me over time. He is very warm and has a lot to offer and fits the type of guys I usually date, tall, dark and handsome.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): Were you surprised by the ending?

Jennifer (Age of Love): Yes, I think it had a lot to do with my age. He stated multiple times that he wanted to start a family in 5 years and most likely I will not be able to have children by then so that probably had a huge influence on his decision.Jason (RealityWanted.com): What did you think about the other girls? Were they easy to get along with? Was there friction between the girls?
Jennifer (Age of Love): The 20’s were really competitive. I bonded more with the girls in my group, I really liked Jayanna, Jodie and even though I had disagreements with Maria I think she is great. Within the 20 year old group I feel I was the closest with Megan.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): Would you do anything different on the show if you could do it again?
Jennifer (Age of Love): No I don’t think so. I was open and honest and allowed my heart to be open to the possibility. I enjoyed the experience and had a great time on the show.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): What’s next for you? Are you going back to your job?
Jennifer (Age of Love): I would love to host a show down the road. Currently I am finishing up a book I am writing on my secrets to staying young and tips and strategies for dating.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): Do you watch much Reality TV?
Jennifer (Age of Love): I actually have been watching more now. I like the show Rock of Love.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): How about some dating tips for our readers?
Jennifer (Age of Love): I feel the most important thing is to go into the first couple of dates without making it too serious, just have fun and have a good time. If you focus on making it too serious you miss out on the fun of dating and getting to know that person. Also I think you should talk about what you are looking for in the other person.
