After watching NBC’s summer 20 something vs. 40 something dating reality show I wondered if the ladies had found love off camera. I caught up with Jayanna Howerton last week to chat about life after “Age Of Love”.
Q. Mark RealityWanted.com – Jayanna, great to talk with you again. I know it’s been a month or so since Age of Love ended. What have you been up to since the show ended and when did filming actually end?
A. Jayanna Age Of Love - We ended filming the end of May, somewhere around May 29th. I was booted around May 20th. I ended up taking the summer off work since I wanted to enjoy the beach the whole summer. Now that I am ready to go back to work, the mortgage business is terrible. I have been having a great time working Hermosa Beach at the Cruze Room. I have also been working hard on a treatment for a new show which I will be hosting

Jason (RealityWanted.com): How did you get involved in the show?
Jennifer (Age of Love): Someone from the production company found me on Myspace and contacted me. They kept asking me but I told them I was not really interested, but after awhile I finally broke down and agreed to go on the show.
Jason (RealityWanted.com): What did you think about the age difference?
Jennifer (Age of Love): I didn’t know he was 30, but I have dated guys that are much younger than me so it really wasn’t a problem.

Today I had the chance to sit down and speak with Maria from NBC’s Age of Love. Maria is a 42 year old photographer from Playa Del Ray CA and eliminated herself last night on NBC’s AGE OF LOVE.
Jason (RealityWanted.com): How did you get involved in the show?
Maria (Age of Love): My girlfriend told me about it. I thought it was a show about women in their 40’s and 50’s, I didn’t know they were going to throw in a bunch of 20 year olds.

Tonight On Age Of Love: Surfing, Movies, and Motorcycles!
Posted on July 16th, 2007 by Mark
Tonight On Age Of Love, Mark’s dates with the 40-somethings and 20-somethings revolve around his favorite things — surfing, movies and motorcycles. Mark first chooses three of the combined women join him, as they take off in an old-fashioned “Woody” to spend the day surfing and playing in the sand. Then, he invites two more women to a movie night at his place. Mark surprises them with videos showcasing their childhood pictures. Later, he chooses one of them to snuggle under blankets with him, as they watch a video of his childhood photos. The next day, the woman left out in the cold gets her date — a motorcycle ride to a biker bar, where the pair play pool and listen to the jukebox. At the elimination round, Mark sends one woman packing.
