Sarah Hartshorne was the sixth girl eliminated from America’s Next Top Model the other night. Sarah who is a college student originally from Heath, MA and once worked on a Blueberry farm took the time to speak with us and here is what she had to say:

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: How did you get involved in the show?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: A friend of mine urged me to try out for the show. I really didn’t have any modeling experience but I figured I would try out, so I attended an open casting call and ended up on the show.

Q. Jason: Why do you think the judges were so perplexed with your size? Do you think weight really made a difference with the competition?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: I never really had done any modeling so I didn’t know where I fit in. I know I don’t fit the normal standards for a model but I think I am more average. Everyone thinks I lost so much weight on the show but really it was three and a half pounds, I had a haircut and that could have played a role in why people thought I was skinnier.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: What was the most interesting experience on the show?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: I had so much fun on the show. I really had no idea what goes into a modeling shoot, so I learned a lot and ended up having a great time while I was on the show.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: It seemed like Tyra didn’t feel you were comfortable at the photo shoot/ video shoot, were you uncomfortable?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: Without having any prior experience it was a little intimidating but I wasn’t that uncomfortable. I think I was just surprised seeing myself in a video and I guess that surprise look came off in a bad way. I had a lot of fun in the video shoot and I regret coming off that way.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: What was your most memorable moment on the show?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: Probably the most memorable moment was seeing Heather get sick so fast. It was scary seeing someone turn green and start shaking. I just love Heather so it was pretty scary. Also just walking into the house and being part of the whole experience, it was so exciting just being a part of it.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: What was the deal with Bianca and Heather?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: Bianca says what’s on her mind. The funny part is the two of them got along most of the time but we all love Heather and so did she. I think Heather is one of the most talented on the show too.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: When Ebony left the show she ended up leaving a good bye note for everyone, did you do something similar?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: My middle name is Banks so I left Sarah “Banks” mail for everyone which was a goodbye letter and just told everyone how much I loved them.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: So who does your vote go to win the show?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: I think Jenah is brilliant, Heather is such a natural and Lisa is so exotic and gorgeous. They all have amazing strengths and are all amazing models.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: So what’s next for you? Are you planning on continuing with modeling?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: I really want to act and model. I think I am open to both avenues and am excited about the future.

Q. Jason, RealityWanted.com: What would you change about the modeling industry if you could?

A. Sarah, America’s Next Top Model: Be honest, I wish the size of a model didn’t matter so much.
