Today we had the opportunity to speak with Saleisha Stowers the WINNER of Americas Next Top Model Season 9. Saleisha a 21 year old receptionist from Los Angeles, CA was the winner on Season 9 of Top Model announced Wednesday December 12th 2007.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So how did you get involved in the show?

Saleisha, (Americas Next Top Model): I was contacted by a casting director on the internet. They emailed me and asked me to audition so I sent in my information and ended making my way through the process.

Interview with Chantal Jones from Americas Next Top Model

Today we had the opportunity to speak with Chantal from Americas Next Top Model. Chantal a 19 year old student from Austin, TX was the 1st runner up on Season 9 of Top Model.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So how did you get involved in the show?

Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I have always been a fan of the show and one of my friends was pushing me to be on the show. So we drove to Dallas to attend an open casting call and kept getting called back and eventually ended up on the show.

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I have always been interested in modeling so I went to tryout and attended an open casting call. I stood in line for awhile and eventually got called back for the show.

SALEISHA STOWERS IS “AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL”

Saleisha Stowers, a receptionist from Los Angeles, was crowned the winner of the ninth cycle of The CW’s hit reality series “America’s Next Top Model.”

The three remaining models participated in a CoverGirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers commercial and print ad. Cycle eight winner, Jaslene, surprised the girls for moral support and coaching during this important stage of the competition before the girls headed back for the penultimate elimination. While the judging panel had critiques for each of the girls’ performances, they were impressed by how Saleisha portrayed herself. “Saleisha, I feel, is CoverGirl when it comes to who she is, what she stands for and how she portrays herself,” Tyra said. The judges decided that while Jenah took amazing photos, her strong personality made her unapproachable and ultimately led to her elimination from the competition.

Interview with Bianca Golden from Americas Next Top Model

Bianca is a college student from Queens, New York. She applied to season 9 of Americas Next Top Model and was the tenth girl eliminated from the show recently. The 18 year old student spoke with us and here is what she had to say:

A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I really didn’t have any modeling experience before trying out but I am a huge fan of the show and I have always wanted to try out.

BIANCA ELIMINATED FROM “AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL” ON THE CW

Bianca, a college student from Queens, NY, was eliminated from the competition of the ninth cycle of The CW’s hit reality series “America’s Next Top Model,” reducing the pool from four girls to the final three.

The girls packed their belongings and traveled from Shanghai to Beijing, China, where they were greeted by Twiggy and Miss J for a stage performance of the Chinese folklore story the “Four Great Beauties.” The next morning, the girls were each given a traditional Chinese gown and challenged to modernize the look for a runway showdown for Seventeen magazine editor Ann Shoket. Jenah was selected as the winner and received private runway lessons from Miss J in addition to a handmade Chinese dress.

INTERNATIONAL SUPERMODEL PAULINA PORIZKOVA JOINS THE CW’S “AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL” AS A JUDGE FOR CYCLE 10

International supermodel Paulina Porizkova has joined The CW’s AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL cycle 10 as a new panel judge, where she will conduct regular weekly evaluations of top model participants.

“We are thrilled to have Paulina as a part of this cycle’s judging panel. The show and participants will benefit a great deal from her vast modeling knowledge and expertise,” said Ken Mok, Executive Producer of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

A. Ambreal, Top Model: I decided to send in a tape and ended up sending it in at the last minute. I received a call back and was ultimately cast for the show.

AMBREAL ELIMINATED FROM “AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL” ON THE CW

Ambreal, a college student from Dallas, Texas, was eliminated from the competition of the ninth cycle of The CW’s hit reality series “America’s Next Top Model,” reducing the pool from seven girls to six.

The girls were greeted at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles by posing instructor Benny Ninja and guest judge and Director of Elite Model Management Neal Hamil. Each girl was paired with a student designer to serve as their muse. The girls later presented the dresses they inspired in a fashion runway show. Though Ambreal was confident in her enthusiastic runway presentation, Editor-in-Chief of Seventeen Anne Shoket was not impressed. “You sort of oversold it. You have to make sure you don’t step over the line and be corny and cheesy,” Shoket told Ambreal.
