Interview with Bianca Golden from Americas Next Top Model

Bianca is a college student from Queens, New York. She applied to season 9 of Americas Next Top Model and was the tenth girl eliminated from the show recently. The 18 year old student spoke with us and here is what she had to say:
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): So how did you end up on America’s Next Top Model?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I really didn’t have any modeling experience before trying out but I am a huge fan of the show and I have always wanted to try out.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): Do you think you were portrayed accurately on the show?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): Everything I said came out good for T.V. I have a competitive side and maybe it came out more on the show but editing played a big part in it too I think it made me out to be more confrontational that I really was.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): Obviously you had some problems with Heather, have you had a chance to speak with her since the show?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I apologized to her and she understood. She appreciated the “tough love” that I gave her and we are fine now.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): What was your favorite time while being in China?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I really enjoyed the parts of the show you didn’t get to see, we would just sit around and hang out and really get to know each other. Also seeing the sites and shopping were great too.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): If you had to do the show all over again is there anything you would do differently?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I don’t regret much while being on the show but running into the glass I would probably take back. I wanted to win, I have a competitive spirit though if I did end up winning it probably wouldn’t have been good for me. I think it would have gone to my head.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): What was your favorite photo shoot?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I would have to say the Gargoyle shoot was the best for me.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): Who did you feel was your greatest competition while being on the show?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): In the beginning I thought Ebony was one of my biggest competitors. She stood around 6’1’’ and had that “Naomi” flavor. Later though I felt Jenah and SALEISHA were competition.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): Who would you like to see win the competition?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I want all of them to do well but I think I would have to say Jenah would be my choice she just has such a great portfolio.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): Did you receive any good advice while being on the show?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): Heather gave me some great advice and she said winning isn’t everything but having a life after this is. I really appreciated the advice she gave me. Also I loved all of the advice given to me from the panel of judges.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): What was the biggest challenge you faced while being on the show?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I would say having more facial expressions. Jenah did such a great job it and it was an area I continually tried to work on.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): So you say you are a big reality TV junkie, what other shows do you watch?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I love The Real World and I Love New York.
Q. Jason (RealityWanted.com): So what are you up to now, are you continuing with a modeling career?
A. Bianca (Americas Next Top Model): I am continuing and currently looking around New York for opportunities. I also would love to work in fashion or fashion writing so I am thinking about changing my major in school right now to something similar.

I loved Bianca, and I thought she should win. YOU GO GIRL!!! I’m cheering for you.
