Interview with Chantal Jones from Americas Next Top Model

Today we had the opportunity to speak with Chantal from Americas Next Top Model. Chantal a 19 year old student from Austin, TX was the 1st runner up on Season 9 of Top Model.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So how did you get involved in the show?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I have always been a fan of the show and one of my friends was pushing me to be on the show. So we drove to Dallas to attend an open casting call and kept getting called back and eventually ended up on the show.
Jason: Did you know you would end up as far as you did?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I thought it was cake in the beginning and that I was going to win but by week 7 it wasn’t about winning it was about making it to another challenge.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What did you think when they announced the final two girls?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): Both girls we close, I think if I ended up competing against Jenah I would have won. Saleisha is the total package and I am proud to have lost to her.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What did you think when Jenah made that comment about you? How did it make you feel?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I think Jenah is better for older people. I think myself and Saleisha are better role models for children. Jenah is more self driven.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What makes you such a great role model?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): Saleisha and I are better role models because we do the right things and don’t just do the fun things and I think we are more responsible.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What was your favorite experience on the show?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): The Great Wall was the most incredible time I had in China. Also just moving from Texas to Los Angeles and meeting all of the girls. I am grateful for the experience.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Are you planning on keeping the makeover now that the show is over?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I got rid of the extensions, but I might change it up a little not sure yet.
Jason (RealityWanted.com): Did you make some good friends while being on the show? Anyone you stay in contact with? Any girls you didn’t get along with?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I keep in touch with Jenah and Saleisha the most, they are both amazing girls. Jenah is my best friend from the show. Lisa and I really didn’t get along.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So what are your plans going forward? Will you continue in modeling?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I am planning on pursuing modeling. I am ready for whatever comes my way so I am looking forward to seeing who contacts me. I would love to act in a movie or series too.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Do you have any advice for women trying out for next season?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): Be prepared. It is hard, especially being away from family and friends. Just remember every second counts and give it your all.
Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Any final words for your fans?
Chantal, (Americas Next Top Model): I do not have any regrets, I went in and it turned out to be such a blessing. The whole process is so exciting and I want to thank all of my fans and supporters for being there for me and seeing the good in me. Thank you!

Hiya Chantal!!!! I am one of ur biggest fans ever!!! And although I liked Saleisha i think that u were more deserving to win this competition…I think that ur a real good sport and very very generous!!!:) Look forward to hearing ur name in the future…!!!!
