Today we had the opportunity to speak with Jenah from Americas Next Top Model. Jenah an 18 year old student from Farmington, CT was the 2nd runner up on Season 9 of Top Model.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So how did you get involved in the show?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I have always been interested in modeling so I went to tryout and attended an open casting call. I stood in line for awhile and eventually got called back for the show.

Jason: On the show people said you didn’t have a personality, what are your thoughts on this?Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I am a really down to earth person so I think people can be confused and think because I am mellow to not have a personality.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): Do you think you were portrayed accurately on the show?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): Everyone has good days and bad ones, but being on a reality show it ends up being worse than it is and everything gets taken out of context.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): How were you with the smoking ban on the show?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): It was really hard at first and became a little moody from time to time. Now that I am back I started smoking again but I limit myself to one a day.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): How did you feel at the final ceremony when Saleisha and Chantal said those things about you? Has it changed your relationship with them?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): It didn’t affect my relationship with the girls I thought Chantal’s comment was a little harsh but I loved all the girls especially Bianca, Chantal and Victoria so I ended up making some good friends from the show.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): How was it talking about your personal affairs on the final episode and how did your family respond to you when you went home?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): Talking about my personal life was hard for me especially on TV. The show was about finding my place in this competition and figuring out who I really was. I learned a lot about myself. When I got home my sisters were very proud of my accomplishments.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): How do you feel with Saleisha winning the competition?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): She worked her butt off and deserved to win it.

Jason (RealityWanted.com): If you had to do it all over again is there anything you would have changed?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I wouldn’t have changed anything. I stayed true to myself and I would take back the things I said or did.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): What was your favorite part being on the show? How about your favorite photo shoot?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I loved China, just being able to explore a new culture for me. Also I loved shopping and hanging out. I hated all the drama so I tried to stay away from it. I just loved the photo shoots and hanging out with the hair and make up people. My favorite photo shoot by far was the rock climbing one. I have been climbing since I was a kid so I felt really confident.

Jason, (RealityWanted.com): So what are your future plans, are you going to continue in the modeling industry?

Jenah, (Americas Next Top Model): I am planning on moving to New York in the spring. Chantal and I have been talking about moving in together. I want to continue modeling and will do whatever gets thrown my way maybe even acting. Also I am very interested in human rights so hopefully with my connections something will workout.
